Day 1: Clinician's Perspective (Shant) | Day 2: Client's Perspective (Annie)
Please note: this is NOT a specialised course or qualification. This is a basic insight into how we have reframed our approach when it comes to managing EDS & hypermobile clients.
Shant Rahman
Shant is an Accredited Exercise Scientist (ESSA) with special interest in high performance sports, tendinopathy rehab, SIJ dysfunction, low back disorders, and hypermobility/Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. His approach to musculoskeletal rehab focusses on strength and movement correction, so the patient has an understanding of not only how to manage their injury/pain, but also the mechanisms behind it and how to prevent it from reoccurring as they return to the things they love doing. He has a passion for the most difficult and "unsolvable" cases, which is what originally sparked his interest in working with hypermobile and Ehlers-Danlos clients.

Annie Short
Annie is an Exercise Scientist and Strength Coach with hEDS, POTS, and ADHD. Annie has been coaching since she was 15, and at 18 began competing in powerlifting - where she competed nationally and internationally with a best total of 500kg before making her way over to the sport of bodybuilding where she also competed at a national level. As a strength coach, Annie works almost exclusively with EDS and hypermobile clients through her educational course Bendy & Strong. She has a passion for breaking down the "difficult" stigma surrounding Ehlers-Danlos patients/clients, as well as teaching hypermobile people how much easier it is to manage their bodies with the right guidance.
